
DESCRIPTION: This image is of a Super Nova Remnent (SNR) in the constialtion Cynus. Their are several sepratly desiganted opbjects in this complex, such and the easter and western Veil nebulas, as well as Pickering's Triangle, and the Southeaster knot. The star that exploded to generate this object exploded about 20,000 years ago, and is about 2400 light years away. This object is still expanding through space and thier is some time lapse video recorded by the Hubble telescope over several years which is very interesting.

EXPOSURE: 36x300sHa, 36x300sOIII, 36x300sSII, 9 hour total exposure.NOTES: This was the first real wide field image taked with this 61mm scope. It was able to easily fit the entire cygnus complex in the field of view. This was also imaged in narrow band so the colors not not true color.
